Philippa Thorp Design is seeking a senior architect to join its practice in London. This a contract role for an exceptional job running architect with at least ten years experience to run an exciting high-end residential development in the French Alps. The successful candidate will be based at the Thorp office in Knightsbridge.
Applicant must have:
- Experience working from concept design to on-site installation of similar projects in the French Alps
- Fluent in French – spoken and written essential
- Affinity with French construction terminology
- Be prepared to travel to site in France as needed and more regularly when project is on site
- Construction expected to start May 2018
- Coordinate two tier pricing. One contractor vs multiple.
- Coordinate all professionals
- Prepare marketing material. Plans and sketch up model.
- Vector works
- Start immediately
- Length of contract two years
