Seeking a talented and experienced Architect with a passion for historic preservation
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our Canterbury studio. If you have 2 to 5 years of post-Part III qualification experience and a passion for leading architectural projects through every work stage, we would love to hear from you. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent design abilities, and a keen interest in the repair and conservation of historic buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and delivering architectural projects across all RIBA work stages
- Demonstrating excellent design and drawing skills
- Applying a strong understanding of UK Building, Planning, and Listed Building regulations
- Managing day-to-day project operations independently
- Collaborating effectively within a team and providing leadership when required
- Engaging in the repair and conservation of historic buildings
Role Requirements:
- Part III qualified with 2-5 years of experience in a UK-based architectural practice
- Strong design and technical detailing skills
- Enthusiasm for and experience in working with historic buildings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience across all RIBA stages
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and NBS (Chorus) is desirable
- A personable, confident individual with a strong sense of team spirit
