Project Architect Brief Overview:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a skilled Revit Project Architect to join our established architectural practice in central London. Specialising in large-scale commercial and residential projects, this role involves leading projects across all RIBA stages, with a particular emphasis on technical design. Project Architect Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead large-scale commercial and residential projects from concept through to completion, working closely with our practice Director to ensure successful delivery.
- Design Development: Create detailed Revit-based designs that integrate modern functionality with historical context where necessary.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure innovative, high-quality project outcomes.
- Presentations: Confidently present design concepts to clients, demonstrating both creative and technical expertise.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects meet UK building regulations, health & safety standards, and planning policies.
Project Architect Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture or equivalent, with RIBA Chartered status or actively working towards it.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an architectural practice, focusing on large-scale commercial and residential projects.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with Rhino and Adobe Suite is a bonus.
- Regulations: Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes.
- Design Expertise: Demonstrated ability to deliver creative, high-quality designs, particularly in sustainable design and refurbishment.
- Organisation & Leadership: Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects and lead teams effectively.
