The Part 2 Architectural Assistant Role
As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, you’ll contribute to all RIBA work stages, developing design concepts and producing technical information for projects at varying stages. You’ll work alongside our experienced team on exciting schemes, including those entering the construction phase and others in the early design stages.
We value strong conceptual and design skills, with an emphasis on hand drawing and sketching to foster collaborative design discussions. Proficiency in Vectorworks is highly desirable.
Part 2 Architectural Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of information across all RIBA stages
- Engage in design discussions through sketching and conceptual work
- Collaborate effectively within a supportive team environment
Part 2 Architectural Assistant Requirements
- Excellent design and conceptual skills
- Proficiency in hand drawing and sketching
- Good knowledge of UK building regulations and the planning process
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Ability to manage workloads productively
