Project Architect – expert in Revit and Autocad for thriving studio
Thomas Alexander is currently seeking a Project Architect with at least 5 years of experience post-RIBA stage 3. Proficiency in Revit and Autocad is required.

Project Architect Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Tender & Construction information, encompassing drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Comprehensive coordination of technical design information with third-party consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Collaboration with the main contractor and sub-contractors during the construction phase to resolve on-site issues.
- Review and coordination of specialist sub-contractor packages.
- Management of the design programme to ensure complete project management, while acting as the lead consultant.
- Collaboration with the project team to effectively allocate resources and track progress.
- Management of client relationships.
Project Architect Skills & Qualities:
- In-depth technical knowledge and a minimum of 5 years of experience from RIBA stage 4 onwards.
- Thorough understanding of UK building regulations.
- Strong grasp of structural design principles and M&E design principles.
- Experience in the principal designer role and acting as a contract administrator.
- Proficiency in valuations, issuing contract certificates, creating and implementing H&S files, establishing risk registers and site reports, as well as O&M manuals.
- Experience in prime residential and multi-unit new-build developments is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in both Revit and Autocad.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Sketchup is preferable but not essential.
- Self-motivated and capable of working under pressured deadlines when necessary.
- Excellent time and people management skills, enabling successful leadership of a team working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills across various stakeholders such as clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Immediate availability to work in the UK.
