We are seeking a talented Project Architect with site delivery experience to join our thriving London Studio. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in a technical design delivery role within the construction sector.

This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week across 4 days. We offer the opportunity of hybrid working once you have settled into the role.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a large student residential project on site
  • Interface and maintain relationships with the Main Contractor, Subcontractor and consultant team
  • Conduct site visits to review progress and inspect benchmarks, producing associated site observation reports
  • Review consultant and subcontractor technical submittals, drawings and schedules for various packages
  • Update technical drawing packages (Revit) and specifications as required
  • Respond to RFIs and technical queries as required
  • Provide support to Project Partner / Associate in compiling Change Control forms and other contractual documents
  • Manage Revit models and participate in clash detection and resolution with consultant and subcontractor team

Skills and Experience

  • ARB registered architect with 8 years post Part 3 experience
  • Proven experience of site delivery and handover RIBA stages 4 – 6
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and sustainable design principles.
  • Exceptional design, interpersonal and organisational skills, with an eye for sustainable innovation and quality.
  • Ability to read and write technical specifications to a high standard
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of design management, contract administration and risk management in architectural projects
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite

Working Hours: 9.00 – 17.30
Work pattern: 4 days per week. Hybrid working opportunity once settled into the role
