We are looking for an experienced Lead Architect to lead ambitious commercial projects in our London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive architect with strong Vectorworks skills to take ownership of large-scale developments from concept to completion. Lead Architect Role Requirements:

• ARB registered architect with 3+ years of post-qualification UK experience
• Extensive experience in commercial architecture
• Proficient in Vectorworks (essential)
• Solid knowledge of UK Building Control regulations and planning standards
• Strong technical detailing, design, and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of leading projects and managing clients, consultants, and contractors
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with strong presentation skills

Lead Architect Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of commercial projects from initial concept through to completion
• Develop creative design solutions and produce detailed technical drawings using Vectorworks
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality control across all project stages
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project execution
• Prepare planning applications, building control submissions, and detailed documentation
• Lead site visits, overseeing construction progress, and resolving technical issues on-site
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, ensuring a collaborative approach
