Job Posting Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 24th January 2024
Job adverts are published on Architecture.co.uk for a period of four weeks (28 days).
After this period, adverts will be removed from the site unless we receive a request to renew the advert.
At the discretion of Architecture.co.uk, job adverts can be removed from Architecture.co.uk before the end of the 28-day period upon receipt of a written request from the person who posted the advert. However, no refund will be issued in this case.
Standard job adverts cost £150 each (plus tax if applicable), and featured job adverts cost £500 (plus tax if applicable).
Payment must be completed before we can publish job adverts.
Payments are non-refundable, except in the case of adverts that are not published for any reason, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Architecture.co.uk accepts job adverts submitted as text; images cannot be accepted.
Only one role may be advertised per job advert, unless the advertiser is seeking several people for jobs with the same titles and job descriptions.
Job adverts are posted at Architecture.co.uk’s discretion, and Architecture.co.uk reserves the right to refuse to post adverts. In the event of refusal, a full refund will be provided.
Architecture.co.uk reserves the right to edit adverts or to request that advertisers resubmit adverts that are deemed unacceptable for any reason.
Architecture.co.uk is not liable for the content of adverts. The advertiser is solely responsible for ensuring adverts are truthful, legal, and decent.
Recruitment agencies may post advertisements on behalf of other companies, as long as they state the client’s name in the text.
Jobseekers must log in to apply for roles through the site, and applications are then sent via Architecture.co.uk to the employer at the email address they supplied. We do not display email addresses in the job ad itself.
Architecture.co.uk will assign the following categories to job adverts:
- Job type (e.g., architecture, interior design, BIM)
- Job location (country and city, e.g., UK/London)
- Employer (e.g., XYZ Architects)
Categories are assigned at the discretion of Architecture.co.uk.
If a job advert does not fit into existing categories, we will create new categories for the advert at our discretion.
Advertisers can make changes to adverts once they have been posted via their Architecture.co.uk Jobs account.
Architecture.co.uk can also, on request, make reasonable changes to job adverts once they have been posted on Architecture.co.uk. We will endeavour to make these changes as quickly as possible but cannot guarantee when changes will be made.
We reserve the right to refuse to make changes that are not deemed reasonable. Architecture.co.uk Jobs Advertising Terms and Conditions are legally binding. Architecture.co.uk, United Kingdom, provides this service.
No financial information, such as debit or credit cards, is stored on the website or in any formats.
To place a job advert via www.architecture.co.uk (Architecture.co.uk website), you must post your advert using the online submission form provided on Architecture.co.uk. All compulsory fields in the online submission form and payment details requested by Architecture.co.uk must be correctly completed by you. You are responsible for ensuring all details submitted are complete and accurate. Adverts will be removed if found to be illegal in any way or breach current employment law regulations. Additional terms added by you in your job advert submission will be void. Architecture.co.uk reserves the right to refuse to publish any job advert submitted by you on the Architecture.co.uk website at Architecture.co.uk’s discretion.
Architecture.co.uk will send a refusal notification to you if this is the case, and the job advert will then not be published on the Architecture.co.uk website. This period for approval or refusal of your job advert by Architecture.co.uk will ordinarily be 24 hours, but time will not be of the essence for Architecture.co.uk to respond to the submission of your job advert.
If Architecture.co.uk agrees to publish your submitted job advert request, it will be published on the Architecture.co.uk website, either in its submitted form or in an edited form amended by Architecture.co.uk at its discretion. You will be notified by Architecture.co.uk by email when your job advert has been published. Publication of your job advert is subject to payment of the relevant fee being received by Architecture.co.uk in cleared funds, and if your payment is not completed or is withdrawn, your job advert will be deleted from the Architecture.co.uk website.
Several identical employment positions can be included in a single job advert, but if you wish to advertise different employment positions, you must submit separate job adverts for each separate employment position and pay separately for such additional job adverts.
The job advert will be a text-only advertisement (maximum 500 words), and there will be no functionality on the Architecture.co.uk website to allow the submission or posting of images, photographs, or illustrations. Architecture.co.uk reserves the right during the period that the job advert is published on the Architecture.co.uk website to edit or delete unacceptable content in or take down your job advert. Unacceptable content is content that:
- Infringes third-party intellectual property rights (including trademarks, copyright, design rights, patents).
- Is illegal or defamatory, or which may bring Architecture.co.uk or the Architecture.co.uk website into disrepute.
- Offends the spirit of good taste or decency (breaches advertising codes).
You promise to Architecture.co.uk that you will be truthful and honest in your use of this job advertising service, and information and representations in your job advert will not contain any of the unacceptable content referred to above. You also promise to Architecture.co.uk that you will deal with end-users of the Architecture.co.uk website who may respond to your job advert in a prompt, responsible, friendly, and reasonable manner.
If Architecture.co.uk edits your job advert, you acknowledge that Architecture.co.uk will not exercise a review of the legality of the content of your job advert, and you will be responsible and liable for the content of your job advert, notwithstanding editing by Architecture.co.uk.
You may ask Architecture.co.uk to make reasonable amendments to your job advert by sending a notice by email to email@example.com clearly indicating the amendment you require, but Architecture.co.uk makes no guarantee that any such amendment will be made and will only make such amendments at its discretion.
Payment of the fee will be subject to the payment and refund provisions below. All valid invoices will be payable to Architecture.co.uk within 28 days of receipt of the invoice. If invoices are not paid by their due date, Architecture.co.uk will remove your job advert from the Architecture.co.uk website.
If Architecture.co.uk refuses to publish your submitted job advert for any reason, the fee paid to Architecture.co.uk under this Agreement in accordance with the terms below will be refunded to your account.
The fee paid to Architecture.co.uk for the publication of your submitted job advert will be non-refundable, even if your submitted job advert is cancelled or withdrawn by you in accordance with these terms, except that if your job advert is refused by Architecture.co.uk and not published on the Architecture.co.uk website, or you cancel your submission before your job advert is published on the Architecture.co.uk website, the fee paid for that job advert will be refunded in full to you within a reasonable time.
You acknowledge and accept that the advertising service on the Architecture.co.uk website does not include any arrangement or employment agency services and will be a simple advertising service. The scope of this service will not include assistance forming or performing employment contracts between you and end-users of the Architecture.co.uk website who may respond to your job advert for which you will be solely responsible.
You understand and accept that Architecture.co.uk will at no time enter into any contract with end-users of the Architecture.co.uk website in relation to the employment position(s) advertised by you in your job advert, and Architecture.co.uk does not promise you that you will receive responses to your job advert from end-users of the Architecture.co.uk website.
The Architecture.co.uk website will not be error-free or uninterrupted, and access to the Architecture.co.uk website may be variable. The Architecture.co.uk website may be attacked by computer viruses, which may affect or restrict access to or the appearance of your job advert. Some occasional downtime may temporarily prevent your job advert being viewed on the Architecture.co.uk website. Architecture.co.uk disclaims its legal liability for such events.
Architecture.co.uk will not be legally liable to you for any consequential losses (i.e., loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss or damage to data or information) arising out of or in connection with the provision of the service of publishing your job advert on the Architecture.co.uk website.
All intellectual property rights including (including trademarks, copyright, design rights, patents) in the Architecture.co.uk website (except in job adverts and company pages on the Architecture.co.uk website) are owned by Architecture.co.uk, and nothing in these terms will transfer ownership of such of Architecture.co.uk’s intellectual property rights in the same on the Advertiser.
In consideration of Architecture.co.uk agreeing to publish your job advert on the Architecture.co.uk website, you grant Architecture.co.uk a world-wide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce and display your job advert (including all contents, intellectual property, and features) on the Architecture.co.uk website.
If you want to cancel this agreement, you must send a cancellation notice to Architecture.co.uk by e-mail (clearly stating that you wish to cancel publication of your job advert on the Architecture.co.uk website and which job advert your cancellation request applies to firstname.lastname@example.org). Architecture.co.uk will comply with your cancellation request within a reasonable time by removing the relevant job advert from the Architecture.co.uk website. This agreement will then terminate.
Your job advert will be removed from the Architecture.co.uk website unless a notice in writing (which may be by email) is received by Architecture.co.uk requesting that publication of your job advert be renewed for a further 28-day period.
Architecture.co.uk will endeavor to send out a reminder notice (which may be by email) regarding the expiry of the current 28-day period but does not guarantee that such a reminder will be sent. This may be repeated at the end of each 28-day period as required, subject to payment of fees due.
If you don’t renew your job advert as above, Architecture.co.uk will remove your job advert from the website, and any fee for your job advert outstanding will become immediately payable. This agreement will then terminate. If you do renew your job advert as above, Architecture.co.uk will invoice you for a further fee in the same way.
Architecture.co.uk may assign its rights or obligations under these terms at any time.
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these terms without Architecture.co.uk’s prior written consent. Architecture.co.uk will not be liable for failure to meet its obligations under these terms if it is prevented from doing so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
