CarverHaggard is currently seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect to join our team at our Brixton office in London.
As a design and research practice, CarverHaggard is dedicated to delivering public benefit by offering positive solutions to complex challenges. Our work spans collaborations with local authorities, community organisations, and forward-thinking developers, always approaching projects with critical optimism, practicality, and rigour.
With an array of exciting public and private projects in various stages of design and construction, we are in search of an enthusiastic and design-oriented individual to actively contribute to our studio. In this role, you will take on a pivotal position in leading the design and delivery of projects, collaborating closely with our internal team, external partners, and clients, all while receiving support for your personal and professional growth.
We are looking for Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect candidates who possess:
- Initiative, intelligence, and ambition
- Exceptional design and drawing abilities
- A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and excellent communication
- Proficiency in various CAD and design software, with preference given to Vectorworks, Sketchup, and Adobe packages
- An interest in public engagement, social impact, and environmental design
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for liaising with client, consultant, and contractor teams
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Current eligibility to work in the UK
- Ability to work in person at our Brixton office
